Ashley Qualls became a millionaire at 17 yrs old with her company “Layout Loot”, which helped teens create profile layouts and web designs for their MySpace pages (back when it was popular). She did this without having a website design college degree, likely by taking online web development courses online.
She became a millionaire in just ad-revenue alone and never actually had to sell a physical product, all working from home! Now that’s living the dream.
6 – Nick D’Aloisio
Mobile app development is a huge industry. At just 17 years old, Nick D’Aloisio became a millionaire by selling his custom software development called “Summly” to Yahoo for $30 million. He invested the money he earned to launch surfingprizes.com. The site was a pay-per-ad toolbar for website surfers that made him on average $350,000 per month! Not bad for not attending college.

This is one guy who doesn’t have to worry about paying his car insurance. Remember the TV show on MTV called “Pimp My Ride?” Well Koon who was only 16 years old when he owned the automotive shop called Extreme Performance Motorsports where he would trick out rides. At just 16 years old he was worth $1M dollars. Koon’s success hasn’t slowed down since, and can probably afford to donate a car for free at this point.
3 – Tyler Dikman
Cyber security, and network security is a growing market, and Tyler was one of those kids who was just born for entrepreneurial success. At five years old he was selling lemonade and making over $20 an hour. At age ten he was performing magic shows for $74 per hour and would eventually create cooltronics.com. It was a website where he taught lessons to computer owners on internet safety, virus removal, and other various computer lessons. He was a millionaire by 17 just from being knowledgeable in IT security.
